Wooden vacation home for 6 persons at National Park 't Dwingelderveld
For those seeking peace, nature and comfort, this cozy Norwegian vacation home is an ideal base. The house is located on the edge of a small-scale park without facilities, directly adjacent to National Park Dwingelderveld. Here you can enjoy endless hiking, cycling, mountain biking or horseback riding, and your dog is also welcome.
Inside you will find a comfortable sitting area with television, a dining area and an open kitchen equipped with, among other things, an oven, dishwasher and filter coffee maker. There are three bedrooms each with two single box-spring beds, two of which are on the first floor with their own washbasins. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet.
Outside, you can enjoy views of the forest on the covered veranda. There is a parking space next to the house (20-30 meters walk), other cars park just outside the park.

Dwingeloo is located in the beautiful Dwingelderveld National Park. Here you can enjoy the nature and tranquillity for which Drenthe is famous. You can also enjoy an active holiday here: there are endless cycling and walking routes through the beautiful woods and heathland in the area. Many activities are organised in the summer months: markets, stargazing evenings and the Midsummer Festival. For a special day out, you can visit Remembrance Centre Camp Westerbork, hire a boat in Giethoorn or stargaze in the Planetron. For a day of swimming, go to the Blue Lake or one of the many (indoor) swimming pools in the area.

We arrived at the location a little early (1.5 hours). That wasn't a problem, the cottage was ready and we could move in right away. The hostess was friendly and made us feel truly welcome! It wasn't a big park, but a small, homey place. The cottage was clean and well-maintained. It was fully equipped, with extras like salt and herbs, paper towels, etc.
We waren te vroeg (1,5 uur) op de locatie aanwezig. Was geen probleem, huisje was al klaar, konden er meteen in. Gastvrouw was vriendelijk, gaf ons écht een welkom gevoel! Geen grote parkdynamiek, maar een klein huiselijk park. Huisje schoon, goed verzorgd. Van alle gemakken voorzien, met extra’s zoals zout en kruiden, keukenrol, etc.

Fine and comfortable huije, nicely located. We were with 2 persons so plenty of space. Nice mosquito nets in the bedrooms. Perhaps another screen door for the terrace door to make it complete.
Cottage is highly recommended, we will definitely come back. Fijn en comfortabel huije, mooi gelegen. We waren met 2 Personen dus ruimte genoeg. Fijne horren in de slaapkamers. Misschien nog een hordeur voor de terrasdeur om het compleet te maken.
Huisje is zeer aan te bevelen, we komen zeker terug.
