Charming, ten-person, thatched farmhouse in Diever, sleeping thirteen. Located in southwest Drenthe, near the Drents-Friese Wold National Park. Diever has much to offer for a successful holiday or weekend getaway. Year-round, but especially during school holidays, there are plenty of fun things to do in and around Diever. For example, there are craft and curiosity markets, and you can enjoy an open-air Shakespeare play. In the surrounding area, there are also many mountain bike and hiking trails, as well as a variety of nature/educational activities organized by the Dutch Society for Nature Conservation and the State Forestry Service in our two national parks.

You'll be staying in a detached, thatched farmhouse with a private entrance. The very spacious living room with a nostalgic sitting area features an eight-seater sofa, a television with a DVD player, and free Wi-Fi. Enjoy a meal or play board games with your entire group at the very large table. You can also use the mini library with books and games to borrow. You'll have access to a beautiful, modern open-plan kitchen with a dishwasher, combination microwave oven, filter coffee maker, refrigerator, four-burner electric stove, and a small bar. There are two family bedrooms, one for four and one for five people, a double bedroom, and a box bed for two. There is a spacious bathroom and a spacious (accessible) toilet. The holiday home is equipped with a cozy, environmentally friendly pellet fireplace that powers the central heating. There is ample parking for your cars. There is a terrace with furniture and barbecue at the house, as well as a spacious lawn and covered campfire site which can be used by arrangement. Various wood-fire cooking workshops and other fun activities can be booked with the property manager. Options: Canoeing, raft building, archery and air rifle shooting, klootschieten (a Dutch bowling alley)/petanque, as well as outdoor cooking: 3-course workshop dinner/lunch, wood-fired pizza, wood-fired stew/hunting dish, fish/meat or vegetable smoking.
