You can rent a sloop at the marina or bring your own. Thanks to the available slipway, it is easy to launch.

The tastefully furnished living room features a cozy seating and dining area with a television. The open kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, four-burner stove, refrigerator, combination microwave, filter coffee maker, and kettle, among other things. The bedroom is furnished with two comfortable single box-spring beds. Additionally, the chalet has a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Bicycles can be safely stored in the lockable shed on the premises. The owners are available to answer any questions during your stay.

The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for cycling and walking tours. Explore the junction routes through the Frisian countryside, walk through the It Bûtefjild nature reserve, or visit the historic city of Dokkum. Leeuwarden is also easily accessible. A train departs from De Westereen every half hour to Leeuwarden and Groningen. Additionally, the Wadden Islands of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog are excellent destinations for a day trip.
