A nice attraction nearby is Harwi sculpture garden in Eeserveen. In the extensive gardens you can take a nice walk and enjoy the various ceramic sculptures. The Ellert and Brammert open-air museum in Schoonoord is highly recommended for children. Here you can discover everything about how people used to live in Drenthe.
