Cozy 4-person holiday home in Burgh-Haamstede with a sunny garden
This cozy holiday home is situated in a lovely spot near the beach and the Burgh-Haamstede lighthouse. You can be on the sand in just minutes, while the village center with its shops and restaurants is also nearby. Fancy a day trip? Towns like Zierikzee, Middelburg, and Veere are easily accessible for a day of culture, shopping, or relaxing on a terrace.
Inside, you're welcomed by a bright and inviting living area with a comfortable seating area. Adjacent is the spacious kitchen/diner, where cooking and dining together become a natural part of your holiday. French doors seamlessly connect the indoors with the outdoors and provide access to the garden with several terraces, ensuring you'll always find a comfortable spot in the sun or shade.
The bathroom is practically designed, and the house features an additional sleeping loft. This is accessible via a steeper staircase and is therefore particularly suitable for children aged six and up.
Thanks to its quiet location, pleasant garden and short distance to the sea and village, this holiday home is a wonderful base for a relaxing holiday on the Zeeland coast.

Burgh-Haamstede, Zeeland
From Burgh-Haamstede, the whole of Schouwen-Duiveland is actually at your feet. Burgh and Haamstede were once independent villages, but have grown together to form a tourist resort. In the village, you will find the more than 50-metre-high Westerlichttoren lighthouse. Built in 1837, it is one of the largest lighthouses in the Netherlands. Definitely worth a visit! From here, authentic Zierikzee, popular Renesse and historical Bruinisse (also known as the mussel village) are also highly recommended and easy to reach. Prefer a day of culture? Then visit Deltapark Neeltje Jans or the Watersnoodmuseum in Ouwerkerk; both also very interesting.

The location of the holiday home is very nice; the furnishings are comfortable, with a large kitchen area and a large dining table, which we really enjoyed. The bathroom is very small, but manageable for a week. Unfortunately, the heating in one bedroom remained cold most of the time, and some kitchen utensils weren't clean (teapot, coffee pot), and there was a rusty strainer.
Lage des Ferienhauses sehr schön; Einrichtung gemütlich mit großem Küchenbereich und großem Esstisch, was wir sehr genossen haben. Das Bad ist sehr schmal, aber für eine Woche gut zu ertragen. Leider blieb die Heizung in einem Schlafzimmer meist kalt und einige Küchenutensilien waren nicht sauber (Teekanne, Kaffeekanne) und ein verrostetes Sieb.

A very nice house with all the trimmings. It was a lovely homecoming after a day out. The tranquility was breathtaking. The beach was a bit of a walk, but it was through beautiful, peaceful surroundings. In the morning, we waved goodbye to two deer in the garden. What more could you ask for?... Best regards.
Een erg leuk huis met alles erop en eraan. T was er een gezellig thuis komen na een uitstapje. De rust was adembenemend. Het strand was wel een eind lopen maar wel door een mooie rustige omgeving. S morgens nog uitgezwaaid door 2 hertjes in de tuin. Wat wil een mens nog meer....vr. groeten
