Attractive and spacious 2-person holiday home with terrace in Biervliet
This holiday home is located in the quiet village of Biervliet, a fine base from which to discover West Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Within seven minutes by car, you can reach the charming village of Hoofdplaat, located directly on the Westerschelde estuary. At low tide and rising tide, you can even spot seals here from the dike.
In 15 to 20 minutes, you drive to the cosy fishing village of Breskens, with its lively boulevard, marina and the atmospheric Spuiplein square full of restaurants. The atmospheric fortified town of Sluis is also close by: in about 30 minutes, you can be among the numerous shops, pavement cafés and restaurants. On Saturday mornings, you can buy fresh bread from the local bakery in Biervliet. You don't need to leave the village for a cosy dinner either; there are some fine restaurants nearby. Explore the area by bike! Various routes lead you along vast polders, creeks, the Westerschelde, a rose nursery, cheese farm and the surprising “Petit Paris” in IJzendijke.
You have two private entrances: through the front door or around the back. If you enter via the front door, you step straight into the hall. Here you can hang up your coat and store your shoes. From the hall, you walk through to the spacious, cosy living room. This is furnished with a comfortable seating area, a coffee table, television and a cosy fireplace. At the back of the living room you will find a large dining table with four chairs. The open kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, oven, microwave, filter coffee maker and kettle. Via the kitchen you reach the bathroom. It is spacious and equipped with a walk-in shower, sink and toilet. The bedroom is on the first floor. You can reach it via the stairs in the kitchen. The upper floor is furnished as an open sleeping area with a double bed (160x200), a wardrobe and a cosy seating area with two chairs and a table. The entire house has central heating. On hot days, you can also cool the house with the air conditioning. In the side street of the house, you can park in a designated parking space.

Location and surroundings
Biervliet, Zeeland
Biervliet is a charming fortified town in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, brimming with history and natural beauty. It has had official city rights since 1183, which is reflected in its characteristic sloping streets, old bastions and authentic buildings. Walking through the village, you will pass the medieval Reformed Church (1659-1660), with its beautiful stained-glass windows by Cornelis van Barlaer, and the imposing neo-Gothic Roman Catholic Church from 1858. For nature lovers, there are wonderful walking and cycling routes around De Braakman nature reserve, leading through forests, polders and along the Westerschelde estuary. A children's favourite is the playful Kabouterpad and play forest near the area.
