The Bemelerberg consists of a number of limestone grasslands with limestone rocks where you should definitely take a look. The cities of Valkenburg and Maastricht, where fashion, culture and Burgundian conviviality come together, are within cycling distance. Valkenburg is known for its many caves and castles, while Maastricht is known for its many sights, history and shopping and entertainment options.
