Luxury 8 person holiday home with sauna in the Ardennes near Durbuy
This luxurious and beautifully situated eight-person holiday home is located in the southernmost and largest province of our neighboring country Belgium, namely Belgian-Luxembourg near the town of Barvaux. Barvaux is located in a natural and peaceful environment and guarantees a wonderful and relaxing holiday close to home. The wooded area around Barvaux is ideal for a walking, riding or cycling trip. In the area you can enjoy motorcycling and good kayaking or fishing in a nearby river.
Ground floor:
Living room with leather couch, digital TV, DVD and CD, wood stove. Dining room with french doors to the terrace. Modern fitted open kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher and ceramic hobs, fridge, Senseo and filter coffee maker. Utility room with washing machine and dryer. Bedroom with double box-spring bed and a bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower. Separate WC.
Floor:
Three bedrooms with a double box spring bed each. One bedroom has a TV, bathroom with double sink, shower and bathtub. Separate WC and Sauna.
Garden with terrace, garden furniture, play area and barbecue.

The cottage itself was good and spacious enough for 8 adults. However, the instructions for the heating were very unclear, so we spent the entire weekend sitting in a sort of sauna. And the lock on the door to the terrace was broken and without a handle; this could not be repaired. This door also served as the escape route in case of emergencies.
Huisje op zich goed en ruim genoeg voor 8 volwassenen. Echter de gebruiksaanwijzing van de verwarming was zeer onduidelijk, dus we hebben het hele weekend in een soort van sauna gezeten. En het slot van de deur naar het terras was kapot en zonder klink, dit kon niet gemaakt worden. Deze deur was tevens de vluchtroute bij calamiteiten.

Spacious house and garden. Plenty of entertainment for the kids, both indoors and outdoors. The downstairs toilet works well, but the color and smell of the flushing water are unpleasant. Some maintenance is needed. We had a wonderful time, despite two days of rain.
Ruim huis en tuin. Genoeg vermaak voor de kinderen binnen en buiten. Toilet beneden werkt goed, maar de kleur en geur van het doorspoelwater is onfris te noemen. Hier en daar is onderhoud gewenst. We hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad ondanks 2 dagen regen.
