This beautifully situated group accommodation is located in the village of Buren on Ameland. Buren has about 670 inhabitants. The village is located in the middle of the island and is the easternmost of the four villages on Ameland. A kilometer further west is Nes; to the east are the Kooiduinen and then the Oerd. Unlike the other villages on Ameland, Buren was originally a ribbon village. Some places of interest in Buren are the statue Ritskemoai, De Kooiplaats and the agricultural beachcombers museum Swartwoude. Tourism plays an important role for the village.
Layout
The accommodation can accommodate up to 18 people. The house has a fully equipped kitchen including a seven-burner gas cooker, combi oven, (filter) coffee maker, dishwasher, two refrigerators and a freezer. The house has a spacious room which can be used as a dining and recreation room. The room has a seating area with TV and a football game table. A large washroom is equipped with separate showers, toilets and sinks. There is also a separate toilet and shower.
On the ground floor are three bedrooms with two box-spring beds and one bunk bed. Upstairs are two bedrooms with three single box-spring beds. All beds are single beds or bunk beds and come with duvets and pillows. Outside is also a large 2500m2 playing field with swings and football goals. The building is equipped with a fire alarm system and wireless internet access.
