There is plenty to do in and around Almere, with Amsterdam just a stone's throw away and the Oostvaardersplassen nearby. In Amsterdam you can store, take walks along the canals or enjoy terraces and nightlife. There are also many different museums: the Anne Frank museum, the Rijksmuseum and NEMO are definitely worth a visit. Moreover, in Almere itself you can do great shopping and enjoy numerous catering establishments. From Almere you can also go in the other direction, go for a lovely bike ride on a free white bike on the Veluwe, sailing on the beautiful Markermeer or to Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen. And the Oostvaardersplassen are really beautiful and perfect for a day in nature.

Klein knorrestein truly exceeded our expectations. The location was beautiful—peaceful, calm, and ideal for a relaxing escape from the city.
