Charming 4-person holiday home with spacious garden and hot tub in Aalten, the Achterhoek
In this spacious and tastefully furnished holiday home for four people, you'll enjoy peace, space, and entertainment. The expansive garden surrounding the house offers plenty of privacy and is a paradise for children. In the play garden, they can jump on the trampoline, swing, and play with the sports and games equipment. Meanwhile, they can explore the chickens in the yard and search for wild rabbits. You can enjoy ultimate relaxation in the hot tub (optional booking), in the hammock, or at the barbecue with a good glass of wine and beautiful views, surrounded by birdsong. Inside, everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, including a fully equipped kitchen. Thanks to the Wi-Fi, the house is also suitable for a workation.
From the house, you can cycle or walk straight into the characteristic bocage landscape. Discover the charming center of Aalten, visit the National Hiding Museum, or take a trip to Bredevoort, known as the book town. Here you can experience the relaxed Achterhoek countryside.

You could say it is a house rather than a cottage. It is very spacious, as it accommodates 8 people. If you are just the two of us, like we were, it is a fantastic place to stay! The kitchen is fully equipped and the beds are great, so we slept well. The surroundings are rural and suitable for cycling and walking tours.
Je kunt wel zeggen dat er sprake is van een huis i.p.v. een huisje. Heel ruim bemeten want geschikt voor 8 personen. Als je dan, zoals wij, met z'n tweeën zijn, is het fantastisch verblijven!
De keuken is erg volledig ingericht en de bedden zijn prima dus ook goed geslapen. De omgeving is landelijk en geschikt voor fiets- en wandeltochten.

Beautiful (walking) surroundings. Spacious house for 2-6 people. Strangely laid out bathroom with showers that are not easy to adjust. Except for the washing machine and dryer, everything is present. The traffic from agricultural vehicles on the road alongside the house is clearly audible. Absence of matching seat cushions for the garden furniture.
Mooie (wandel) omgeving. Ruim huis voor 2-6 personen. Vreemd ingedeelde badkamer met niet makkelijk in te stellen douches. Uitgezonderd wasmachine en droger, is alles aanwezig. Het verkeer van landbouwvoertuigen over de weg langs het huis is duidelijk aanwezig. Afwezigheid van bijpassende stoelkussens voor het tuinmeubilair.

Dear Tom, Thank you for your stay and review. We are glad you enjoyed the spacious home and the walking surroundings. We will take your comments regarding the shower tap and chair cushions into consideration. However, a washing machine and dryer are available. The separate laundry room upstairs is locked for safety reasons; the key is hanging safely out of reach of children in the meter cupboard. Agricultural traffic is intermittently part of the rural character of the area, just like space, nature, and the view ;-) Thank you for your feedback!
Beste Tom, Dank voor je verblijf en beoordeling. Fijn dat je hebt genoten van de ruime woning en de wandelomgeving.
We nemen je opmerkingen over de douchekraan en stoelkussens mee. Wasmachine en droger zijn echter wel aanwezig. De aparte wasruimte boven is afgesloten uit veiligheidsoverwegingen; de sleutel hangt veilig voor kinderen in de meterkast.
Landbouwverkeer hoort met vlagen bij het landelijke karakter van de omgeving, net als ruimte, natuur en uitzicht;-)
