Swimming

Warm or cold weather… From April to October 1st, it's a wonderful swim every day at De Kriekeput. When the weather is nice, the covered area opens, transforming it into a true outdoor pool. The littlest ones will have a blast in the children's area, and you can relax in the bubbles.

Restaurant De Kriekeput is also highly recommended. Looking for a delicious lunch, a quick cup of coffee, or a cozy barbecue? De Kriekput offers delicious, sustainable, fresh, and preferably local produce.

The area around Herpen has a varied forest, field and river landscape where you have plenty of choice of walking and cycling routes. You can also take beautiful horseback rides or practice your favourite water sport at the Kraaijenbergse plassen, a water area that stretches for many kilometres up to Cuijk. In nearby Oss and Nijmegen, you can spend a lovely day shopping and enjoy many restaurants, cafés and museums. In Herpen itself, there are also a number of catering establishments and you can of course go there for your shopping. Visit the beautiful old fortified town of Grave and taste the atmosphere of yesteryear or go to the Free Market Cuijk and feast your eyes.
