Comfortable 6-person house with a spacious terrace in a park in the North Holland polder

In this modern, single-story chalet for six people, you'll enjoy a bright and comfortable living space where you can relax together. With three bedrooms, each furnished with two single beds or a bunk bed, the accommodation is suitable for both families and groups of friends. French doors open onto the spacious terrace, an inviting spot for long evenings outdoors.

The green surroundings invite you to cycle and walk through the polder landscape. From the house, you can easily reach charming towns like Alkmaar, Volendam, and Purmerend, while the coast is also quickly accessible. The park offers additional comforts such as wellness facilities, an indoor and outdoor pool, bicycle rentals, restaurants, and a petting zoo. This ensures a relaxing stay with plenty of opportunities to explore the area.

West Graftdijk is surrounded by a characteristic polder landscape, ideal if you want to get away from it all and enjoy peace and nature. The 17th-century village is centrally located in North Holland and is also next to the Unesco World Heritage Site the Beemster. There are many possibilities when you want a day out. For example, go to the Zaanse Schans, a unique neighborhood with working windmills, old crafts, beautiful green wooden houses and special museums. Volendam is also worth a visit, a beautiful village with traditional costumes, music and fish. Furthermore, you can visit cities like Alkmaar, Amsterdam and Hoorn. The IJsselmeer, the North Sea and the beautiful dunes are also nearby.

Reception staff friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean, but the cupboards could be better. The "garden" was neglected, with a lot of weeds around the house and even growing out of the decking (we have photos of this), and dirty cigarette butts in the gravel and the barbecue, which also contained cigarette butts. We complained about this, but nothing was done during the week we were there.
