West-Graftdijk, North-Holland
West Graftdijk is surrounded by a characteristic polder landscape, ideal if you want to get away from it all and enjoy peace and nature. The 17th-century village is centrally located in North Holland and is also next to the Unesco World Heritage Site the Beemster. There are many possibilities when you want a day out. For example, go to the Zaanse Schans, a unique neighborhood with working windmills, old crafts, beautiful green wooden houses and special museums. Volendam is also worth a visit, a beautiful village with traditional costumes, music and fish. Furthermore, you can visit cities like Alkmaar, Amsterdam and Hoorn. The IJsselmeer, the North Sea and the beautiful dunes are also nearby.

It is a nicely decorated park. The children had a great time. Playing in the playground, looking at the animal enclosure, in the swimming pool (not anymore when the 2 boys and girls arrived), and watching the ducks by the cottage.
