Comfortable 6 person holiday home on a holiday park near Amsterdam
This comfortable six-person and semi-detached holiday home is located in a beautiful holiday park on the Markermeer, a short distance from Amsterdam. Holiday park Poort van Amsterdam has a beautiful marina with an attractive café-restaurant where you can enjoy the summer sun and at the same time enjoy the Dutch views over the water. For the children there is an indoor arcade and a playground. You can swim in the heated indoor pool. There is also a mini golf course and bicycles are rented. A short distance away are the Zuiderzee towns of Monnickendam, Edam-Volendam and Hoorn, which are definitely worth a visit during your holiday at this unique park.
The holiday home has a spacious living / dining room with an open kitchen. The open kitchen is equipped with complete inventory, dishwasher, a filter coffee machine, refrigerator, four-burner stove and combination microwave. The holiday home has one double bedroom with bathroom on the ground floor. The bathroom has a shower and sink and there is a separate toilet. On the first floor there are two spacious double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet.
The patio doors open onto the terrace with garden. The terrace has garden furniture with garden chair cushions, where you can fully enjoy your holiday. You also have one own parking space.

Location and surroundings
Uitdam, North-Holland
The cozy Uitdam, located the southeastern part of the province of North Holland. The village is located directly on the Markermeer, so water sports enthusiasts will feel right at home. Sailing, surfing or renting a sloop, it is all possible here. Highly recommended is the Marken Express, a boat trip from Volendam across the Gouwzee to Marken. Visit the picturesque nearby harbor towns of Monnickendam or Volendam, and check out the historic town center or have your picture taken in traditional costume. From Uitdam, Amsterdam is a stone's throw away. In addition to good shopping, you can enjoy many cafes, restaurants and museums there, but certainly also enjoy a nice walk along the canals.

The cottage wasn't clean when we arrived. We received a small compensation for this. Furthermore, the cottage was far from complete. For example, a vacuum cleaner, broom, several pans, a teapot, spoons, and so on were missing. Fortunately, this was quickly resolved. I recommend checking the cottages more thoroughly. We found some of the staff disinterested.
Huisje was niet schoon toen we aankwamen. Hier kleine compensatie voor gekregen. Verder was het huisje verre van compleet. Er ontbrak bijv. Een stofzuiger, bezem, meerdere pannen, theepot, lepels en ga zo maar door. Gelukkig werd dit snel opgelost. Ik raad aan de huisjes beter te controleren. Sommig personeel vonden we ongeïnteresseerd.

Negative: Not clean. Mold in the refrigerator. The bedroom lacks closets, and the bathroom lacks towel racks. The downstairs bedroom is too hot. The sauna controls are poor. Positive: Good size. The mattresses were very comfortable. Nice location with access to the water. Bathrooms in each room, good kitchen except for the oven, and friendly reception.
negativ: nicht sauber. Im Kühlschrank Schimmelbildung. Im Schlafzimmer fehlen Schränke, im Bad Handtuchhalter. Schlafzimmer unten zu heiß. Regelung für die Sauna nicht gut. positiv: schöne Größe. Die Matratzen waren sehr gut. Schöne Lage mit Zugang zum Wasser. Bad pro Zimmer, Küche gut bis auf Backofen, Rezeption freundlich.

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaubsort mit viel Natur und Ruhe. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen.
