This spacious four-person holiday villa offers everything for a relaxing waterfront getaway. Start your day with a cup of coffee on the terrace, watching the morning sun slowly rise over Schildmeer lake. Whether you're here to unwind, enjoy a nature walk, or simply enjoy a day on the water, you'll truly find peace and tranquility.
Inside, you'll enjoy a bright, inviting living room and an open-plan kitchen equipped with all modern conveniences. Underfloor heating provides extra comfort, while outside, you'll experience the space and freedom of your own private waterfront garden. Cast a line from the dock, moor a boat, or read a book in the sunshine.
At night, you'll sleep soundly in one of the two comfortable bedrooms. Thanks to the mosquito screens on the windows, you can let in the fresh air without any unwanted guests. Everything about this house is designed to give you that wonderful, free holiday feeling, every single day.

Location and surroundings
Steendam, Groningen
In Steendam you are really close to the Wadden Sea and thus close to the Wadden Islands. Have a unique experience and go mudflat hiking! Be accompanied over the mud flats by an experienced guide and learn all about the Dutch seabed. It is even possible to make a crossing on foot to (one of the) Wadden Islands. A short drive (and bike ride) away are historic Appingedam and port city Delfzijl, both incredibly different but really worth a visit. A little further away, but also very interesting is the seal center Pieterburen. For a day of culture sniffing, the city of Groningen is a must-see. With all its terraces, restaurants, stores, parks and museums perfect for a day out!
