Atmospheric 4 person holiday home in Scheerwolde near Weerribben-Wieden National Park
This holiday home is attractively furnished and offers space for four people. This holiday home is not rented out to a group with children younger than seven years old. This charming holiday home is located in the top of Overijssel and is located at the rear of the owners' house. National Park Weerribben-Wieden is located within walking distance of the holiday home, do you prefer to cycle? Then visit Giethoorn, also known as 'The Venice of the North', or the picturesque harbor town of Blokzijl. The fortified town of Steenwijk, with its canals and ramparts from the Eighty Years' War, is also within cycling distance and definitely worth a visit.
Layout
This four-person holiday home is located at a good distance at the rear of the owners' house. The house dates from 2014, is completely built of stone, insulated and attractively weathered on the outside. The large garden and private driveway offer you more than enough privacy. The living room is comfortably furnished and includes a television and a wood stove. The beautiful, open kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, combi oven, four-burner gas stove, filter coffee maker and an extensive kitchen inventory. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. The bathroom has a rain and hand shower, washbasin and a toilet. Upon arrival, the beds are already made for you and towels, kitchen, tea, guest and dish towels are ready for you. The patio doors in the living room give access to a very spacious terrace deck, located on the south. From this deck you can enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding meadows and fields. Outside you will find an attractive roof on the southeast side of the holiday home. Free WiFi is available in the house via fiber optic internet. The plot is located on the fish-rich Steenwijkerdiep canal, has its own jetty and has excellent sailing connections with Giethoorn, the Gieterse Meren, De Weerribben, De Wieden and Blokzijl. There is a shed next to the residence. The four horse stables of the homeowners are located in this space.

- This holiday home is not rented out to a group with children younger than seven years old.
- One towel package per person is included. This towel package consists of 2 large hotel towels and 1 normal size towel. If you wish to use more towels, you can book this at a charge of €6.50 per package on the spot.
- Per booking per week, you will receive 1 kitchen package (kitchen, tea, guest and dish towels, 3 each).

Location and surroundings
Scheerwolde is located next to the National Park Weerribben-Wieden. This beautiful wetland nature reserve full of ponds, ditches, reed beds and dense marsh forests is the largest low moor in Western Europe. In this special national park, you can encounter many rare animals, such as the otter and the black tern. In National Park Weerribben-Wieden, you can enjoy cycling, hiking and boating. There are many walking and cycling routes that let you discover this stunningly beautiful place. The picturesque villages of Vollenhove, Blokzijl, Sint Jansklooster, Beltschutsloot and Kalenberg are definitely worth a visit, but the Orchideeën Hoeve and Klimbos Avontuurlijk Paasloo are also great for a day out.
