Cozy 2-person holiday home on a green campsite near Markelo
This cozy two-person holiday home is located next to the orchard of a small-scale green campsite near Markelo. A beautiful spacious place for the holidaymaker who loves nature, peace and privacy. The area is wooded and is interspersed with meadows, fields, hills, heath, hedgerows, farms and estates. Ideal for bike rides and walks. The De Borkeld nature reserve with forest and heath is one kilometer away. Restored burial mounds from prehistoric times can be found here. For daily shopping you can go to Markelo, two kilometers away. Markelo has several good restaurants, a bakery, cheese shop, supermarkets and other nice shops. You can also rent bicycles in Markelo.
Layout
Cosily furnished living room with a dining area and a sitting area with TV. The kitchen includes a microwave, refrigerator with freezer, four-burner stove, coffee maker and a kettle. There is a bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. There is also a separate second toilet and an indoor storage room. Outside a lovely spacious garden with a terrace with garden furniture.

Location and surroundings
Twente is known for its hospitality, which you will undoubtedly experience here. In this area, you will also find many historic castles with beautiful gardens, restored wind and water mills and authentic villages. Each one worth a visit. This area is a true paradise for cyclists, hikers and Nordic walkers, because during the trips, each route provides a different scenery. Do you like to go to the big city? Then Enschede, Hengelo, Almelo and (a little further away) Deventer are recommended. For a day out in the area, the five-star route through the Hof van Twente, the castles tour (by bike), Museumboerderij Erve Brooks and Avonturenpark Hellendoorn are fun and suitable for the whole family.
