The vacation home is located right at the edge of the woods, from the house own footpath into the woods, of the National Park Drents-Friese Wold, where it is wonderful walking, running, cycling and mountain biking. Within walking distance there is an outdoor swimming pool, bike rental and an experience trail. In the region there is much more to discover. The Blue Lake, national park Dwingelderveld, the Fochterloërveen, the 33-meter high Bosbergtoren in Appelscha, the dolmens in Diever or Havelte. The museum of false art in Vledder or Museum de Koloniehof in Frederikshof. Daily shopping in Hoogersmilde, Smilde or Diever and for a day of shopping to Assen (with the Drents Museum).

Cosily furnished living room with a dining area and a sitting area with wood-burning stove.
