You will find this cosy holiday home on the De Tolplas recreation park. Here 4 holidaymakers can come and enjoy the surroundings that Twente has to offer. Cycling through the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park on a mountain bike, or a day trip to Almelo: it's all possible. Young and old are in the right place, because in addition to the nature you can discover, there are also plenty of facilities for the little ones. Come and take a dip in the natural pool, ride a go-kart or play football and table tennis. Time for a wonderful holiday with your partner, family or just by yourself? Then you now know where to go!
Layout
This air-conditioned holiday home is suitable for 4 holidaymakers. The living room has a cosy seating area with the possibility of watching television. The kitchen is equipped with a combination microwave, filter coffee machine, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle and gas stove.
There are two bedrooms, both with two single beds that double as a double bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. There is a separate toilet The accommodation also has an infrared or a traditional sauna you can use.
Outside is a furnished terrace where you can enjoy the sun. You can also park a car at the cottage.
Availability
This type of holiday home includes properties that allow pets and that are pet-free. Are you unable to specify pets in the booking process for your travel party? Then unfortunately there is no holiday home available where pets are allowed.
Particularities
- Pets can be booked with preference on request.
- From mid-July to mid-August, an animation team is present at the park.
- The facilities at Recreatiepark De Tolplas have limited opening hours.
- These vacation homes cannot be rented for business purposes and the main booker must be at least 21 years old.
- The park reserves the right to ask for a deposit between EUR 50 and EUR 500 per person on site. This deposit depends on the group composition. Please take this into account when making the reservation.
- The interior/exterior of these vacation homes may differ.
- Pets are not allowed in the recreational lake.
- The restaurant will be closed from Jan. 8, 2024 to Jan. 28, 2024.

Location and surroundings
In Twente, a stone's throw from Almelo and Nijverdal, lies Hoge Hexel. Amid green farmland and close to the Sallandse Heuvelrug, this area has something for everyone. Nature lovers can enjoy all the natural beauty, and its tranquillity, during beautiful walking and cycling trips. The Nature Experience Centre in Denekamp and Natuurdiorama Holterberg in Holten are great outings to learn a bit more about nature and wildlife in the area. Looking for a bit more excitement? Visit the towns of Almelo, Nijverdal, Rijssen, Hengelo and Enschede, where shops, museums, restaurants and pavement cafés adorn the cities. Tierpark Nordhorn, just across the border in Germany, is also a great outing for the whole family.
