Location and surroundings

Enkhuizen, North-Holland

Enkhuizen is also known as the town for landlubbers and sea bums. Join a canal cruise or rent your own boat, such as an authentic sailing ship. The town is home to unusual bridges and locks, such as the old Spuihuisje. On land, beautiful monuments can be found. The monuments De Drommedaris, De Koepoort and the town hall give a good idea of the prosperous town that Enkhuizen was in the Golden Age. For an even better picture, visit the Zuiderzee Museum.
