8-person holiday home with whirlpool on a country estate in Blesdijke near Giethoorn

This beautiful 8-person holiday home on Lindehof Estate is situated in the south of Friesland, in the middle of a woody area. The group accommodation is located near Giethoorn and the Weerribben nature reserve, so enough possibilities to go out for a while! Afterwards you can relax in the covered whirlpool. The children can also enjoy themselves in the outdoor play area or with games. Within walking distance of Landgoed de Lindehof, you will find Pieter Poot restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast (delivered), lunch or dinner.

Layout

On the ground floor is the cosy living room with wood stove and smart TV. Next to the living room you will find the spacious kitchen with a long dining table where you can eat together. The forest villa has 4 spacious bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor with a shower and toilet. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, a shower and a separate toilet. The ground floor has floor heating and the upper floor has central heating. Outside is a large (covered) terrace, covered whirlpool and an inside area with a kitchen with sink and fridge and a filter and Nepresso coffee maker. The house is non-smoking, therefore there is a separate smoking area outside. You can park on the estate without obligation.

Location and surroundings

Blesdijke, Friesland

Blesdijke is located in southeast Friesland and has its origins in the Middle Ages. Partly because of this, you will find numerous (historical) attractions here. For example, go to Castle Olt Stoutenburght or visit the former Jewish penal camp It Petgat. Do you prefer to head out into nature? Happily! This area is a true Valhalla for nature lovers. Take the popular Turf route, walk in the royal forest on the Oranjewoud Estate, or opt for a bike (or rather a boat) to discover Giethoorn and the beautiful Weerribben-Wieden. And don't forget the surrounding towns. Heerenveen, Meppel and Steenwijk are highly recommended and offer many shops, restaurants, terraces and museums.

Heel fijn huisje! Schoon en natuurlijk een heerlijk bubbelbad. Mooie omgeving maar we zaten vooral bij het huisje. Mijn enige tip zou zijn om iets meer keukengerei in het huisje te leggen (o.a. meer messen, pannen, zeef). Of zelf meenemen.

Zeer tevreden met de accomodatie. Erg genoten van de houtkachel en het bubbelbad. Als ik dan toch een verbeterpunt moet aandragen dan zou het een mooie aanvulling zijn om het pad naar het tuinhuisje/bubbelbad te enigsinds te verlichten. Was voor sommigen met iets minder nachtzicht een lastig om er in het donker te komen. Het was een topverblijf!
